The conference and networking event aims to foster the exchange of views on issues affecting the sector

The World Citrus Organization (WCO) will organize two events for the international citrus community this year during Fruit Attraction.

The WCO Conference and WCO Networking Event, taking place on 4 and 5 October respectively, aim to unite citrus producing countries and citrus stakeholders to facilitate collective action in the sector , for both fresh and processed categories. They are open free of charge to all members of the industry.

On October 4, the WCO invites citrus stakeholders, the press and institutional stakeholders to join WCO Members to discuss issues relevant to the sector during the WCO Conference to be held at IFEMA in room A10.13 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. CET.

The WCO conference agenda includes guest speakers on the positioning of citrus in the current retail environment and the communication of citrus to consumers, as well as a presentation of the strategy of the MDGs for 2022-2024 and the launch of a new statistical book on citrus with the latest market data from the citrus sector.

The WCO is also organizing a WCO networking event on 5 October for members and the wider citrus community to discuss the latest sector and market developments in an informal setting.

Held at the Limón de España stand in Hall 7 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. CET, the event is an opportunity for industry members from around the world to meet in person and discuss the latest market conditions.
