Harper College to Host Employee Attraction and Retention Summit September 23

As companies face constant challenges finding and keeping employees, Harper College is hosting an employee attraction and retention summit, “Where Did Everybody Go?”

The engaging event, which is free to the public, takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday, September 23 at Harper College’s Wojcik Amphitheater, 1200 W. Algonquin Road, Palatine.

The Employee Attraction and Retention Summit will bring together industry thought leaders to share best practices in today’s evolving marketplace.

Participants will hear about the latest measures taken by the government to support businesses; learn how to make their company a most desirable DEI workplace; visit with organizations in the region during a mini exhibition; and hear from experts in a Q&A session. Continental breakfast is also included.

The lineup includes representatives from Harper College, the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, the Illinois Manufacturing Extension Center, the Schaumburg Business Association, Express Employment Professionals, Business and Career Services Inc., Meet Chicago Northwest, the ‘Illinois Manufacturers’ Association and Arts Alliance Illinois.

The event is free, but registration is required. Please register before Monday, September 19.
