Disney Imagineer Shares Details of Park’s First ‘Moana’ Attraction | Orlando Area News | Orlando

Disney’s Zach Riddley shared a look at the type of graphic style that will continue throughout the walkthrough attraction.

“Today I’m excited to share more details about our upcoming ‘Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana’ attraction at EPCOT. This image is a preview of the graphic style that will be used throughout the attraction, inspired by the design and visual language of the Walt Disney Animation Studios film ‘Moana’,” Riddley wrote in the instagram Publish.

Disney has not announced an official opening date for the attraction. Once opened, it will be located in the “World Nature” area of ​​the park. The image shared online depicts the water cycle and will guide visitors through the attraction.

Graphics like these will guide guests through the water cycle in a way fun and engaging way to tell our story of the vital connection we share with water across our planet, and to inspire the important role we all share in preserving this life-sustaining source and precious resource,” wrote Riddley.

The Moana attraction is not the only part of the transformation the 40-year-old park. Epcot recently opened its Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind roller coaster after a four-year wait and shared details of a green overhaul of ride areas throughout the park.
