In collaboration with his partner, Kingsmen Xperience, Inc.BrightColors will open at least five new Crayola Experience locations over the next five years, doubling the amusement brand’s presence in the United States

Crayola Experience has been a family destination for creative play for over 25 years. It has five successful operations, ranging from 20,000 to 60,000 square feet, located in Pennsylvania, Florida, Minnesota, Texasand Arizona. These immersive attractions entertain more than 1.5 million visitors each year with activities inspired by Crayola’s exclusive products and technologies. Popular activities include: naming and wrapping a Crayola crayon, watching how crayons are made, being featured in a coloring page, creating melted wax art, and more.

Last November, Crayola began actively seeking partners to expand its location-based entertainment footprint nationally and internationally. This multi-site licensing agreement with new company BrightColors is the first of its kind for Crayola, marking the first step in its global expansion. The partnership will begin with a joint assessment of potential shopping centers, focusing on family markets with strong tourist and/or residential appeal. Kingsmen Xperience will work with BrightColors to help source real estate opportunities, manage licensor relationships and provide production and marketing support.

“Today, Crayola is embarking on an expansion effort with a premier partner who shares our ideals and is also dedicated to high-quality customer experiences,” said Warren Schorr, Crayola Senior Vice President Business Development, Global Licensing & Experiences. “BrightColors’ leadership has a proven track record not only in creating memorable attractions, but also in providing customers with the highest level of service in operations. They are the perfect complement to the standards already set for Crayola Experience.”

“We’ve been providing engaging and enjoyable customer experiences for decades. As we researched potential existing concepts with our colleagues at Kingsmen, all other attractions paled in comparison to what Crayola Experience customers have to offer,” said Robin Turner, President and CEO of BrightColors LLC and founder of the successful WonderWorks chain. “During discussions with Crayola, we recognized that we had a common vision and were excited about the potential of this partnership in expanding the Crayola Experience.”
