Tampa Bay’s spookiest Halloween event is back for a season filled with fake gore and real terror. Yes, we are talking about: Scream-A-Geddon.

A haunted experience that could very well actually be haunted, Scream-A-Geddon invites the macabre and the gruesome to its six top attractions starting next month.

As a treat for Tampa Bay’s undead enthusiasts, the event opens its eighth season on September 9, its first launch to date. The grounds for Scream-A-Geddon are at 27839 Saint Joe Rd. in the town of Dade.

Scream-A-Geddon

Friday-Sunday, Wednesday Sept. 28 and Oct. 1-31 Continues until Oct. 30

Tickets are on sale now for a special 10% pre-season discount. Looking for a more practical haunting? Apply to be a scary Scream-A-Geddon actor now and become undead for a while.

Tickets provide access to all attractions and mazes at Scream-A-Geddon, except Zombie Paintball Assault.

Some areas offer an interactive option where patrons over the age of 18 can decide to ‘tag’ themselves to fully immerse themselves in the hauntings. Those who opt for the full interactive experience are subject to the creatures they encounter; they can be seized, sent to hidden rooms, or even forced to stay.

This year’s event has new in-store upgrades, including an upgraded Monster Midway with new food and drink options.

Scream-A-Geddon is open to everyone but is recommended for teens and adults. More information about the event, spooky actor applications and ticket sales can be found via Screamageddon.com.
